The Hike and Nature Interpretation will be led by Art Mattox, who has been a Mt. San Jacinto State Park Volunteer since 2008. This is your opportunity to learn more about the natural features, floral and fauna in one of the most diverse ecosystems in North America.
Bring Ten Essentials (click here), water (1 to 2 liters recommended), lunch/snacks, sun protection, layered clothing. Carry Emergency Contact Information (ICE). Sturdy hiking footwear with good tread and adequate drinking water are required.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You must pay for your own tram ride. The fee is $25.95, or $2 less over age 65, and you can buy ticket online in advance. The new $5 parking fee is waived if you show ID as a local area resident or annual pass holder.
